Ohio: SEEARP program date pushed back.

Ohio, who originally planned to start their appliance rebate program in January has pushed the start date back to March 19, 2010. For more information, including rebates for each product please click here.

Wisconsin: Rebate Information Update

Wisconsin has recently updated the available information on their appliance rebate program. Dubbed the "Focus on Energy" program, they have a large list of the rebates being offered, along with details on how people might qualify for additional rebates. Click here to find out more.

Florida and Texas: Incentives Offered to Recycle with Appliance Rebate Program

Florida and Texas have opted to offer an additional incentive of $75 for people to recycle their old equipment. This will be effective during the SEEARP program dates for each state, with the purchase of a new hi-efficiency system. For more information see the Florida or Texas SEEARP websites. Other states may offer similar incentives, so keep an eye out for offers on recycling.

Texas: Advanced Reservations Offered for Appliance Rebate

Texas plans to offer people the ability to reserve a rebate on qualified equipment that they plan to purchase between the dates of April 16 and April 25. The reservations are expected to be available approximately two weeks prior to the launch of the program on April 16th, and may be made by calling a toll-free number or online. After reserved rebates are awarded, the rest will be on a first-come first-serve basis.
